The Popular Show Season Four Introduces the Fighters Party

Since the launch of the fourth campaign, new Dungeon Master Brennan Mulligan has kept viewers on edge with deep backstory, a colorful mix of heroes, and a gripping narrative featuring celestial beings, demons, and dark forces growing in power within Dol-Makjar.

Warning: Revealing details for the third episode of the new season are included.

The Soldiers Table Unveiled

The third episode ended with a huge suspense moment and introduced the initial group of characters who will branch out from the main group to undertake their own adventure, distinct from the other two tables.

The combat-focused team includes Teor Pridesire (portrayed by Travis Willingham), the agile character (Laura Bailey), the fierce warrior (Whitney Moore), Wicander Halovar (the player), and Kattigan (the actor).

Why Split the Party?

Given an extensive roster, it was evident from the start that maintaining everyone at the same party would be impossible.

Hence, the first four episodes of this story serve as an Prelude, weaving together the personal journeys before dividing into three separate parties: Fighters, Strategists, and Explorers.

What Defines the Soldiers Table

Per the Dungeon Master, the Soldiers table is for players who prefer a traditionally charged fight-heavy story mode where non-violent answers are few and far between.

Upon first impression, characters like the hesitant healer Wicander might seem mismatched, but the actions of episode 3 demonstrate why these specific adventurers are best suited for the combat party.

Motivations for Departure

To begin with, the party has a clear idea where to go next after a intense initial meeting with the antagonists.

Casimir of Thjazi Fang—whose death started the story’s plot—used The Crow Keepers for his personal gain, entering the hidden lair, striking the rogue, and taking all the powerful objects to auction.

The traitor then cleared his debts and fled to a fortified location in Gormalay, Timmony, beyond the city, with Cyd hot on his heels.

Personal Motivations

Additionally, each adventurer has a specific drive to depart Dol-Makjar:

  • The rogue, as the close ally and trusted friend, desires retribution.
  • The knowledgeable figure is familiar with the region and warns that it is a dangerous environment.
  • Tyranny and The healer, having disobeyed his relatives’ demands to execute Teor and instead rescued him, have no other options.
  • Yet, their position as prominent individuals in House Halovar could help the team reach areas they typically wouldn’t be able to.
  • Moreover, The fighter vowed a eternal obligation to The savior for his salvation and will now accompany him wherever.

Fugitives

In addition, all of them are wanted by the authorities that govern the city for a multiple motives, making staying in the city too risky:

  • The agile adventurer and Kattigan are known criminals.
  • The strong figure and The cleric betrayed the powerful family and the army of fiends they are aligned with.
  • Teor is marked for death by the family.

This leaves them no alternative but to journey toward the northern region in pursuit of the antagonist.

What’s Next?

From the latest episode’s post-show segment, we find out that the Soldiers table will be absent the following episode, leaving the remaining eight cast members to round up the Questers and Strategists tables.

Viewers can anticipate finding out which adventurers will be in which group in Campaign 4’s concluding setup installment, available to watch on next week.
